Layan’s Crepes & More (“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information we collect

Order details: The name, phone number, optional email, and any notes you provide when placing a pickup order.
Support requests: If you contact us, we collect the name, email, and message you submit.
Engagement signals: Anonymous events such as menu views and order-link clicks, used to improve our website.

2. How we use your data

To respond to your questions and support requests.
To improve our menu, service, and website experience.
To produce internal performance reports (aggregated, no individual targeting).

We never sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for marketing or advertising.

3. Data storage & security

Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Lovable Cloud / Supabase). All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and form submissions are validated on both client and server. Access to stored data is restricted to authorized staff.

4. Data retention

Order details and event data are retained for up to 12 months for service improvement, then deleted. Support requests are retained as long as needed to resolve your inquiry.

5. Your rights (GDPR-style)

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction or deletion of your data.
Withdraw consent at any time.
Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

6. Cookies & local storage

We use a single random session identifier stored in your browser to remember your cart between visits. It contains no personal information.
